The ASA's Statement on p-Values: Context, Process, and Purpose

A laudable effort from the American Statistical Association (ASA) to demystify the p-value and its 5% threshold that any scientist, whatever his domain or his statistical skills, should read. As long as life science researchers blindly rely on people like me to handle these "complicated statistical stuffs" and refuse to make the effort to grab these concepts by themselves it won't change much, but at least they provide a sound basis for our unheard warnings.
